No, they weren't, and James was catching the snitch and hexing Snape at some (unspecified) distance. He was also rumpling his hair.

I think we can conclude that he didn't wear them at that time. Yet Harry does need glasses; in Phoenix 18: Dumbledore's Army we read:

It's interesting that the teen Harry has James's adult glasses in front of Lily's eyes. I've speculated that Harry's hair behaves as it does because of some enchantment by James; Harry's youthful need for James's adult glasses strengthens that slightly, especially since the eyes seem to be the place where James and Lily come together.
Especially since we've wondered about the Evans and Potter bloodlines ... |
