Bode was an Unspeakable who was forced (presumably by the Imperius curse) to retrieve the prophesy. Podmore, a member of the Order, may also have been under the Imperius curse.

But Podmore got six months in Azkaban for his break-in. What happened to him when the six months were up? We're never told, and there is much discussion about Podmore and his six months over in the Chapter 3 scroll.

I am guessing that since the dementors have left Azkaban (wasn't it written in book 5??), Sturgis can be retrieved by the Order. However, that makes me wonder how long the captured DEs can be held captive, what with only few magical spells strong enough to keep them in the fortress.

I posted this in another thread, but I guess it would go better here.

In GOF, when Lord Thingy's supporters all gather to observe his rebirth, Voldy says something about "3 dead in my service, one too cowardly to return, and one who has left me forever."

We know that Rosier is one of the dead, from when Harry visited Dumbledore's Pensieve, which leaves 2 more dead Death Eaters to figure out (Edit: someone said Wilkes was another dead Death Eater...one left to figure out, I guess!).

I'm thinking that the "one too cowardly to return" would be Karkaroff, since the other Death Eaters would all be howling for his blood due to his betrayal. (Of course, it could possibly be Ludo Bagman, since Voldy said "One too cowardly to return...he will pay." Ironic...maybe he's in more debt than just monetarily?)

So who's the "one who has left me forever"? Could it be Regulus Black, having faked his own death? I think Voldemort would know if one of his Death Eaters were truly dead or not, what with the whole Dark Mark thing. Regulus being killed for chickening out when he found out what was really happening doesn't sound like dying in Voldy-Thing's service to me.
